Emotions
Read the dictionary definition of each emotion. Journal about a time you have felt this way. Or write about your own definition if it differs.
pride (n.) a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired.
disgust (n.) a feeling of revulsion or strong disapproval aroused by something unpleasant or offensive.
curiosity (n.) a strong desire to know or learn something.
nostalgia (n.) a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.
guilt (n.) the fact of having committed a specified or implied offense or crime
awe (n.) a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder
happy (adj.) feeling or showing pleasure or contentment
anxiety (n.) a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome
overwhelm (v.) to overpower in thought or feeling
anger (n.) a strong sense of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility
love (n.) an intense feeling of deep affection; a great pleasure or interest in something
hate (n.) intense or passionate dislike
joy (n.) a feeling of great pleasure and happiness
grief (n.) deep sorrow, especially that caused by someone’s death
