I feel…
Write everything that comes to you. You may want to set a 3-5 minute timer. Pieces of the writing might lead you to another prompt.
===========================
Letter to source:
Write a letter adressed to your Source (God, Mother Naure, the universe, etc) and let them know everything on your mind. You can include gratitude, prayers, asks, ideas, fears , worries and/or hope.
===========================
Meditation:
Spend 5 minutes in a meditation and then write what came to you mind.
===========================
Affirmations:
Write 5 statements as if they are already happening and read these daily.
===========================
Human Design:
Investigate your type and write about how knowing your type can help you in your day by day living
===========================
Stream of Consciousness Writing:
Grab a notebook or journal, set a timer for 3-5 minutes and write without stopping. Even if you have to write, “I don’t know what to write”, do not stop. Do not worry about spelling, grammar or punctuation. Just continually write. Once you are done, go back and read through it. You can then turn these into other journal ideas.
===========================
Spirituality and Religion:
Describe the difference between spirituality and religion. Do you feel you can experience both at the same time? Here are the dictionary definitions:
spirituality: (n.) the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things
religion: (n.) the belief in and worship of a superhuman power or powers, especially a God or gods
===========================
Chakra:
Write a response to each of the questions connected to the seven chakras.
Root: How safe do I feel in the world?
Sacral: How is my emotional health?
Solar Plexus: When do I feel clarity and courage?
Heart: How do my relationships flow?
Throat: When do I feel comfortable expressing my thoughts?
Third eye: How do I see myself?
Crown: How do I feel connected with everything in the universe?
ABC: Choose a word that starts with each letter and then write about yourself. Ex: A is for animal. My favorite animal is an elephant because of how they form a women’s group and support each other. They are also an animal that grieves.
=================
Colors:
Divide your paper into 6 sections. Label each with a color. In each section write about your connection and feelings associated with that color. Do you like it? What does it remind you of? How does it make you feel? What things do you like that are that color?
=================
Numbers:
Number your paper 1-20. Write a couple sentences for each of the numbers related to your life. Example: 3: the number of children I have. This is different from what I thought…
=================
Life Areas:
Create a circle listing your name in the middle of the paper and then 10 spokes out from the center for different areas of your life. Write about what is going well for each of the areas. Areas: personal development, health, finances, family, friends, relationship, environment, career, spirituality/faith, and recreation. You can also rate each area on a scale of 1-10 and create goals to help increase your rating.
